Mel, known behind the decks as Mom-A-Vibez, is a Birmingham-based House DJ bringing infectious energy, soulful rhythms, and a fearless spirit to every set.
She began her DJ journey in March 2024 at the age of 54, proving that passion knows no age limit. What started as a personal challenge quickly turned into a mission—to move people, uplift spirits, and break stereotypes with every beat.
In her first year, she’s already made her mark. Her mix ‘Summer Vibez’ was featured on Beauty and The Beats via Brum Radio, she’s been regularly spinning uplifting sets at a local gym, creating soundtracks that motivate and inspire and has played out which she is so grateful for.
Mom-A-Vibez blends House with feel-good grooves and intuitive flow—perfect for all sorts of events including clubs, festivals, community events, wellness spaces, soulful day parties, and uplifting live sessions.
Her motto? “Who says I can’t?”
